Minimum Age: All spirits in this release have been matured for a minimum of 5 years (ranging between 5 years 2 months and 5 years 7 months).
Complex Cask Finish: This whiskey features a unique quadruple-cask influence. It is matured in first-fill American Bourbon barrels and Oloroso Sherry quarter casks, then finished for three months in an ex-California Pinot Noir cask that previously held the distillery's own Smugglers Reserve Rum.
Tasting Profile
Aroma: Sweet and bright with notes of fresh mango, citrus, sugared pear, and dry oak.
Palate: Warm and velvety; features rum-soaked fruitcake, orange marmalade, honeycomb, and a hint of brownie.
Finish: Medium dry with lingering heat, woody oak, and spice.
