Dirtgrain #38 (40ML)

A special limited first release from Blackwater Distillery that explores the historical mashbills of old. Each of the four whiskeys included is the recreation of a style once made in Ireland and includes different mixes of grains in each bottling.

Inspired by the historical research by Peter Mulryan over the past decades, these four whiskeys include classic mixes of malted barley, unmalted barley, oats, wheat and rye. These, at the time of the original recipes would have been known by the distillers as pot still whiskey (now expanded to be 'Single Pot Still' whiskey) however due to the modern interpretation of this style they cannot currently be labelled as Single Pot Stills. That is something that will likely change in the coming years however!
